Superintendent’s Message

Superintendent Robert Tuck

Welcome to Butler County Schools

Butler County is more than just a place—it’s a proud, blue-collar community grounded in resilience, strong relationships, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. We are honored to serve over 2,100 students across five schools, supported by a dedicated team of more than 360 educators and staff members.

Our mission and vision are clear:
Building Character and 21st Century Skills, Collaborating with Families and Community, and Shaping the Next Generation of Local and Global Citizens.

We believe every student can learn, grow, and thrive when surrounded by people who believe in them. That belief drives our commitment to supporting the whole child—through rigorous academics, social-emotional development, career and technical education, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. From preschool through graduation, our vertically aligned curriculum is designed to meet students where they are and guide them toward lives of purpose and impact.

Our work is guided by the Portrait of a Butler County Learner, which outlines the knowledge, skills, and character traits we strive to develop in every student. We are focused on nurturing character, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and global citizenship, preparing our learners to lead with integrity and serve in an ever-changing world.

We invite you to stay connected with us through our website, social media, and regular district updates. Your involvement is vital to the success of our schools, and we are excited to partner with you in creating an exceptional educational experience for all students.

Thank you for your continued support of Butler County Schools. Together, we will achieve great things!

Warm regards,

Superintendent Robert Tuck
